These fit a K frame. They have small silver Medallions with a large, flat, backside washer. The checkering show no sign of any center diamond. The border around the checkering is also very deep. I have two pairs of these. There is no hint of a s/n on the backs.

What are these? The lack of the center diamond seems to be the main problem with coming up with an ID.

The "tell" is the border around the checkering. Pre war magnas, and service style, have sharp corners on the border. Those shown are cut down post war magnas from the period after center diamonds around the screw had been deleted, as younggun22 notes.

See those below as an example, they're N frame but the borders are the same on K frame.

Yep. They're PC (plain clothes) post-1969 K magnas with the horns lopped off. S&W never made a non-magna grip with the washer on the back.
As stated, the bright washer, vs the earlier black washer makes them newer. I can't remember what year that change occurred.

There's a seller on eBay that's had a set like yours listed for months. I messaged them, but apparently they don't care about the truth in their description.

There was a very short time post-WW2 that K snub round butts shipped with post-war checkering style non-magna service grips. I've only seen a handful, and feel lucky to own one. They do not have washers.

There was also a very short time that post-WW2 K square butts shipped with pre-war K magnas. I have one of those, too.
