my grandads old gun; any help appreachated trying to get photo.
hand ejector
serial # 219484
32 long
4 1/4 barrel
fixed sights
has strain screw
5 screw frame

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! Could you post some more pictures of both sides of the gun in better lighting? It appears to be a .32 Hand Ejector, Model 1903, 5th Change from around 1915.
 
On my list is SN 220445 which shipped on 11/9/1914. Yours should be fairly close. It would be a Model of 1903 (5th Change).

Regarding ammunition, it can use both .32 S&W and .32 S&W Long cartridges.
