I have an old S&W revolver, and it is time to sell it. I plan to sell it here, but first I need to properly ID it, and place a value on it. I am hoping someone here can help me.

I think it is a Hand Ejector, K frame, SN# K 173141. According to my research it was made in 1953. 22 Long Rifle Ctg. 4" barrel. Adjustable sights. 5 screw. Adjustable trigger stop. "Fishhook"/"sculpted" hammer.

Is this a Model K-22Masterpiece, third model?

The gun is in nearly factory new condition, with only the slightest thinning of the blue near the muzzle. The action is very crisp. No dings in the wood. See pictures.

All original, but no box.

What is it worth?

As Alan stated, it is a .22 Combat Masterpiece. It very likely shipped in the first half of 1953. I list Combat Masterpiece units on either side of that serial number that shipped in February and May of 1953.

I think $750 is a reasonable price for that nice revolver.
