And, or Prayers. 5am Sunday morning I was on the computer and my wife came downstairs and came in and started talking to me in what sounded like a foreign language of some kind. I told her to get dressed, going to the emergency room. I watched her get her left leg in but the right was not working so I called 911. Cat-scan and MRI show no stroke but she had a seizure Mondaay morning. She got out of ICU today and is speaking slowly but she has no idea that she's in a hospital. She keeps trying to get out of bed so they have her restrained.
I'll update as I know more. I appreciate this forum and all the fine people on it. Thank you.
Mike

Home now, doing much better than expected. She was always a good speller but is struggling with that now, she discovered this while writing out thank you cards. Should be getting in home therapy soon and they will address issues then. It was a blood infection that affected her brain. They were able to clear it and a full or nearly full recovery is very possible. We're very thankful for ALL the support.

You and your wife are in my thoughts.

Hopefully, the doctors will figure out what happened and get your wife on the road to recovery as soon as possible.

Keep us posted on any further developments, please.

Years ago my wife suffered a ruptured aneurysm in her brain, that exhibited some of the same type symptoms (I'm sure the cat scan/MRI would have shown that however) but I sort of know what you're going through.

May the Lord hold her, and you in His loving hands. May he guide the hands of those who will care for her.

We lift this in Jesus' name.

Amen.

You and your wife are in my prayers.

My cousin just had symptoms similar to that. They said she had aneurisms and mini-strokes. Doctors put stents in her brain and she seems much better now.
