Hey all - new owner / member

I'm in the market for a new case for my 15-22. I'm not sure if I want hard or soft yet but I know I don't want something too big.

Could you guys chime in with what case you're using?

thanks.

wow - that's a great price. I was looking at their "Pro"series case. Do you know what the difference is aside from shape?

Two more magazine pouches, internal straps to secure the rifle, and probably a little more padding. All completely unnecessary for the average trip to the range. I like the case I posted above because it is simple and gets the job done. It's exactly the length it needs to be (42" version), protects the gun well enough, and hold the number of magazines I typically take to the range for a gun.

Midway puts that case on sale now and then. You can wait and it will go down to $19 eventually, or just order now at the current price, which is still pretty good. Order a couple more things with it and use a promo code.

Don't know if this would work for a 15-22 but it handles an M1 Carbine real well. Came from Cheaper Than Dirt.

lol - thanks for the pic but that's nowhere near what i'm looking for :D

Some time back I got the Condor single rifle case from CTD for about $47. VERY well made--best case for the money I have seen. Of late I have been using a Doskocil takedown shotgun case which fits carbines nicely. Both have their points but the latter protects the rifle better.

thanks. does your takedown case require any taking down of your 15-22? Or does it just fit w/ the stock collapsed?

Voodoo Tactical..

I just put an order in on this guy...

can't wait...

I picked up one of these from SG on sale a couple yrs ago. Voodoo is considered "airsoft" to some/most, but I found the quality above average and it hit the price point I was looking for.. It's well made and can pack a bunch. I wanted it for the AR's and AK's, so it is the short version.

Mine will fit nicely in a 16" Carbine case. It will not fit in an M4 case, the barrel is too long.

34" case length is about right. Will fit in a longer case, of course.

Tell you the truth, I Dont want anyone to know i have arifle in my car or were ever, so for totaly concealablity, I use a soft padded guitar case with a side pocket for spare mags and it does have a shoulder strap.... Theres one strap inside to hold the neck of the guitar so i use that.... WHen i bring it around all i have is a guitar case. Some times people ask me what kinda guitar i have and i say an russian made one....lol. but it doesnt raise any eybrows....I dont walk down the street with it, evan though i probebly could with out gettin a second look from people or cops alike.... Plano Hard-case with spots for 5 locks if you wanna go overkill. I throw a ton of **** in the back of my car and want it to not get banged up. I think it set me back $20 on sale. Fits perfect. I have 4 shorty mags in there too now.

can anyone resize that?
