Please remember my Dad in your prayers. Dad had prostate cancer in 86 and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2012. He has been doing amazingly well since his surgery chemo and radiation treatments until this week. Mom doesn't know the details but he has to go for a CAT scan Tuesday. He spoke to his oncologist and told Mom his cancer was back. This after his annual scan which was done this past week. He told Mom his blood count was up. ??? He's pretty closed mouth about it all. I am a life long Catholic but for the last year or so I have fallen away from my faith and only occasionally attend church. I am almost ashamed to ask God for help because of this. At times I even question God's existence. I know it makes little sense to ask for help from a deity you may or may not believe in, but that's where I am. I know we have members of great faith here and I am asking you to pray for Dad.
Thank you

It is better to live your life as God wants you to ,then go to church and not follow his rule.Everyone of us will die eventually and hopefully join his side.Nothing shameful in asking for help on behalf of others.Prayers sent on your fathers behalf.

Ill keep your father and your family in my prayers.
I feel for you, I am on my third round of chemo for colon cancer and as hard as it is I truly believe it's harder on my wife and daughters having to watch me go through it.

Will pray for your dad, will also pray for you and your family. You can go back to church, we will be happy to see you. God bless your dad and the whole family.

You have prayers from Texas for your father.

May your faith be strengthened and may God surround your family with His love, peace and strength during this difficult time.

Pretty much all has been said except my prayers are with you your father and your family as well.

More prayers from Texas. Hang tough, guy! You've got a good example of that in your father...considering everything he's been through so far, he's what is often called in Texas "old time tough". Prayers for him, you, & the rest of the family.

Prayers offered up for your dad. You obvously still have the seed of faith in your heart, so I'm also praying that God help grow your faith and trust in Him. He is the only one with all the answers.

Prayers for your father. If you get a chance, listen to George Harrison's "Hear Me Lord" on his "All Things Must Pass" album. You may find yourself in the song. I have found myself there many times. God hears us when we pray.
