Please Return My Brownells Flex Hones

If they turn up they will be available for use by forum members ONLY..
If I have to replace them I will never loan them again..
PLEASE WHOEVER HAS THEM, PLEASE RETURN THEM
Gary/Hk

Just a suggestion, Headknocker, but did you post this on the "other" S&W Forum?
It appears quite a few folks from here went over there earlier this year and never returned, so perhaps one of them borrowed your hones about that time or came into possession of them and hasn't seen that you are looking.
Hope you find them...your generosity in loaning them out to help fellow shooters speaks volumes!

Heck I may be on that other S&W forium,I didn't see that bueatiful three latch that you usually see before you get to log in! If you don't find out whom has them I'll kick in a couple of sawbucks to help you recoup!

I thought of that & am a member there..
But there Site is screwed up seriously..
I've gone there several times, I log in & then it redirects me & them I'm logged out again..
I tried posting to a thread Same thing..
It hates me..
I've almost given up trying..
I even thought maybe it's my computers settings but it's not, I have cookies enabled etc..
Good Idea Though!!
I just want them back for a project in the near future
I'm gonna fit a 940-1s cylinder to my 642-0 & will want them smooth, But might just send the cylinder to Dave Manson to be reamed to 38 Super or .356TSW
Thanks for the Bump Too!!
STILL LOOKING!! :(

Heck, I don't even know what a flex hone is but I'll put up $10 toward getting this very nice guy a new one, if he will let us.Who will match me?
PJ
I see this is already been suggested.Great idea Jesse !

*****940 Hones Still Missing*****

Here's a Friday evening Bump looking for those darn cylinder hones..
I still can't log in at that other forum & have no access to the moderators etc without being logged in..
It allows me to log in then redirects me to the front page were I'm logged out & can't even post or have access to thier classifieds.. there is a big problem with there software or some thing, Don't know for sure..
Here's hopeing that some person who barrowed these cylinder hones will find it in thier heart to return them or pass them on to others who have been waiting to use them
Mostly 940 owners have used them but several 38/357 users too..
Gary/Hk

Way to go guys.
I'll help. I know it's much hated but, how bout someone who has a PayPal account who would be willing to receive the money and order Gary some new hones.?
If 11 fine forum members clicked $10....problem solved.

Hey if it happens they'll still be available for everyone to use..
I realy hate that it's come to this though?
Whoever has them step up & return them PLEASE!!
Here's what they "Looked" Like..

This is a pic of me useing a split wooden dowel to clean the bottoms of the charge holes with 400-600 grit wet/dry silica carbide sandpaper + oil , Note scrap of belt around cylinder, even though I'm useing a rubber jawed vise on my bench..

Gary's a great guy. Somebody needs to man up and get the tools back where they belong. Do it anonymously if you're too embrassed.

Gary let me use them over a year ago, gratis.

I'm in for $20 toward replacement.

Noah

This thread shouldn't be this long. Someone, somewhere, knows something about where these hones might be. I hope someone isn't reading this and intentionally keeping the hones. May I ask Gary what it would cost to replace his missing items?
