I walked in my favorite reloader supply store and there was a complete isle of unique, bullseye and 2400 powder. Just as Ireached for my credit card I woke up.

Just withdrawl symptoms of doing without powder. When will it end?

If you were in OHIO, you wouldn't be dreaming.

You've got that right, stopped in at the Fin last Saturday and they had to have had 20 or 30 lbs of Unique on display. They also had at least 3 eight pound kegs of Bullseye. As for myself, I came away with 3 lbs. of Accurate #5.

Not that I know about. I usually get a friend to buy mine at gun shows.

I didn't think there is. I have to depend on buying online, & shell out the haz-mat fee. Forty years ago there were dozens of places in the area selling loading supplies. I believe the closest retailer now is at Summit, outside of Ashland. Cheaper to pay the haz-mat fee than drive that far. Ain't Obama's America grand?

An old habit from 35 years of reloading and shooting. I've always have kept large amounts of supplys along with bricks of 22 shells. For the last few years it's paid off. But I'm ready to get some stuff again as it becomes available.

I'm with you ADK Mike.
I started stocking up on componants in late 2008 and have kept several years of need in stock, so I can ride through these scarcity and inflationary times.
I probably ought to pick up a few pounds of powder some day.

When you see something you use nowadsys you should buy it. A few months ago I bought my first ever 4 lb container of Unique. The LGS had two of them but no 1 lb containers.

If I get on a loading binge, I can go through Unique pretty quickly, especially if I'm loading multiple calibers(saves me having to clean out the powder measure).

The last time I saw Unique for sale was at a gun show back in November. I let the seller then talk me into an 8lb jug for $140, and have not regretted it in the least bit. I've not yet opened the big jug, but probably will need to in the next couple of weeks

I think that I'm going to buy the next 8lb jug of Bullseye that I see for sale.
