You are so right! One of my first favorites was a grandfather-given nickel plated .22 with a 3" barrel, by Harrington & Richardson. Worn at the time and now retired.

Now have single-action only fun with Bearcat, Single Six and maybe sometime again with a nice Colt .22 short barrel.
