I wasn't going to buy another .357 unless I came across a deal on a 3.5" M27....

My LGS has had a really clean 4" Ruger Police Service Six in the case for $499. The other thread on the Security Six helped seal the deal.

I can pick it up in 10 days.

The only difference is the first three years production, 150- serial number, the stocks are a little different size and not easily interchangeable. I have one from'73 and another from'76 (151-). I think when I ordered stocks for the older one I didn't read where it said they didn't fit the first three years.
