Bud's seems like a good place to buy a used gun if you qualify. Since I can not I just don't know how I could get around the requirements. Any ideas how I could do this???

Are the requirements any different than buying a pistol anywhere
else on the internet ? Ship only to FFL and you go and show proof
you can legally own one. Right ?

Budspolicesupplies.com is different from Budsgunshop.com, you need to show proof that you are/were a LEO, FF, military. The prices on their NEW firearms are USUALLY lower on the police supply side, though limited in selection.
I ordered a 15-22 from Budsgunshop and a week later they showed up on the Budspolicesupplies website $49 cheaper.I called, they said the 2 sides operated independently.

Bud's Police Supply has some great deals. I recently bought a new 1911 9mm Pro Series from them for $1028, best price I found anywhere.

Hi,
I didn't intend for this to be my first post, but I had to jump in to clear something up. You guys know Bud's is selling these same pistols (S&W 3rd Gen, not the plastic guns) for the same price on the normal BudsGunShop website, right? I'm thinking about getting one of the 4553 TSW pistols, kinda hard to beat at $350. I like chopped down big bore pistols.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the 4553? I have a CS9 and am blown away by it's performance. I can shoot it just as well as my full size pistols. Hope the 4553 is more of the same.

DASA, good 1st post , you are correct. Guns listed both sites for the same price. Looks like only NEW guns get discounted on the police supply side, my mistake. I did get an e-mail from the police supply site and in my haste to post it, didn't check out the other website.
This means anyone can order one of these fine 3rd G Smiths. Edited my post .

I just ordered myself a 4586. The 4586 is my favorite 3rd Gen, closely followed by the 4566TSW. If they still have any of either the 4566TSW or the 4553TSW when I have gun money again, I'll likely get myself one of those also. It was a hard choice because I already have a 4586, but at that price it was hard to pass up having a spare of my favorite 3rd gen pistol.
