There are several on Youtube covering other pistols but the process would be the same for the Sigma. Just do a search on "polishing pistol slides."

I am unclear if this is a query as to polishing external purposes for cosmetics, or internal surfaces for functionality?

Now that I reread the OP he states in the pistol. Based on that I can assume he is referring to internal parts meaning functionality and not bling. Even at that he shold clarify his request. What parts?

im joking, mine had the trigger job done and needed work, they sent it back fixed with new internals so i had to do the trigger job again, but i didnt mind.

all free and no mention of polished internals.

the reason i figured they replaced my internals is probably liabilty. you know, they worked on gun and didnt fix a modification, maybe they could be some at fault n some way?

just a thought, but thats how i know.

Now THAT is something youve said that makes sense. I just hope that your reasoning is right, cuz im in same boat.

I guess I won't be polishing anything just to feel a little safer. No need to tease the tiger.

sent me a sticker, i sent it in with a note stating problem, (broken extractor), they sent it back with all new parts. new striker assmbly, new well, everything. and had it back maybe 3 weeks after sending it in.

Hope that's how it goes for me. Have u seen a vid of polishing?

Here is the link to Jeff's first video. You probably should watch all four parts before you start working on the gun.

YouTube - ‪Sigma 9mm, Part 1, Turning a pigs ear into a silk purse‬‏

I did most of these mods on mine and it went from a gritty 11lb pull to a smooth as silk 8lb. The break is much crisper, the accuracy is as good as any of my other 9MMs and it still functions flawlessly after over 1000rds.
