Dont know about you all but the pollen here in mid MO is nuts this year. The oak pollen is so bad that by the end of the day my car looks like it has been setting in a barn with green dust for years.

It isn't too bad over here in Spokane, but when we lived in the Seattle area the pollen from the needle trees was unbelievable.

A car parked and unmoved for a week would literally have a 1/16" - 1/8" deep layer of sticky golden pollen. No exaggeration.

And if you didn't clean it off it would mold. Nasty stuff.

Thankfully I didn't have any kind of allergies to it. Anyone who does would be totally miserable this time of year.

It’s pretty messy, so we’re getting estimates to enclose our back porch in glass or EZBreeze.
I was just able to get my furniture cushions out of storage yesterday(put them in storage for the winter)after vacuuming/washing the floor and walls. I don’t think I’m willing to do that year after year, I’d like to use the space year round.

Even though most of Brooklyn is not known for it's foliage, my car has a thick film of yellow/green pollen stuck to it, just like it gets at home in South Carolina. :(

To be quick....

I've been suffering miserably. I had to stop my allergy shots last August for heart surgery and now I'm on Zyrtec and singulair but my symptoms are HORRIBLE.:(

The allergy people were supposed to call me a few weeks ago. I'm going to call them tomorrow and find out what gives.

I've got a 30' blue spruce next to the driveway that drops an incredible amount of the yellow stuff.Luckily,I don't have allergies

Y'all just now noticing that stuff? Here in Ala. we have been putting up with it for 2 months already. I have a theory that with the mild spring temps that everything got a head start with the pollen and where it is usually drug out over a longer period of time, it is all here at once.
Folks have been fussing that usually aren't messed with by the pollen. We don't need a tractor to hit the tree to knock out the clouds, all we need is a gust of wind and the pines emit yellow clouds. Walk through the grass and your shoes turn yellow and heaven forbid cutting the grass or bushhogging. Can't see the dust that is normally kicked up for the pollen fog. Not even any relief with rain this year. Rain just seems to usher in a new batch.

ON A DOWN TURN HERE.

FEB-APRIL was enough . Just in time for love bug season. Don't know how I used to spend SO much time hunting from a live oak trees, the lazy boy of trees for a tree stand. Now I have a hard time walking near them in pollen season.

I went to the Dr again today for sinus and bronchitis and can't hardly leave the house for my eye's watering and nose running. I can't recall a season this bad in the recent past.

THIS HELPS ME.

I used to average 2-3 sinus infections a year. Got some saline nose spray (ocean is one brand, it's available about anywhere) and a 4 oz bottle of liquid colloidal silver from a health/nutrition store, app 20$ (10 years and I have 1/2 left). Remove the nozzle from the saline & add 1-2 droppers of the silver to it (the eye dropper comes with the colloidal silver), Replace the spray caps and give each nostril a good spray 1-2 x a day as needed. Silver was used as an antibacterial prior to antibiotics. NOT PRACTICING MEDICINE OR ANYTHING! It's up to you, but works for me. Haven't had a sinus infection in over 10 years. A medi-pot wouldn't hurt either/or instead of.

It was 90 here in STL today. It was awful. With pollen, heat and humidity it pretty much sucked today.
Allergies and asthma make a rough combo

Pollen to a honeybee is like a tenderloin is to us........protein!
In the hive it is mixed with honey and is essential for their survival.

The pollen in NE Florida has been especially brutal this year.

I have seen it this bad, but dont remember it lasting this long. Ticks are going to be bad this year too.

Not too far from where we live-Coeur D'Alene.
