Went both days since admission covered the whole weekend and it’s only a few miles from my house. It was the usual show, not great, but never bad. I ran into all the usual people I see there and said hi. Merlin wasn’t there as he usually is; hope everything is ok with him. I saw a lot of revolvers I wanted, but prices were high. One in particular was a Bavarian Police marked Victory model. The owner wanted $850 for it and claimed it was “over a hundred years old”. I schooled him a bit on what the Victory models represented, but he didn’t seem to appreciate it. I saw a couple of 640 no dash models in the $550-$650 range and a 610-3 6.5” no box for $1450. Ouch….takes a little of the sting out of all the GB fees and tax I shelled out for my recent 610 no dash acquisition.

Saturday, I managed to trade out almost 3K of the LR primers I picked up cheap for a mix of SPP and LPP. All of the primers I saw were at or over $100/K, and one gentleman proceeded to put $120 tags on some LRP that I had just traded to him…exactly double what I had picked them up for! I also picked up a Ruger P90 in a trade for a pistol that was just sitting in my safe. I really like the P90’s and haven’t owned one in the last few years.

Today I picked up a really nice Pre-M40 Nickel Centennial from a friend that has had it on his table for the last several Gun shows. I’ve admired it several times and finally pulled the trigger on it today. I’ll post a thread in the revolver section about it.
I also picked up 10 Dillon 550 toolheads for $100, some still in the wrapper. Now that I’ve got a second 550, they’ll come in handy. I didn’t need ten, but couldn’t pass up a deal like that!

Sounds like a good show. I think Smith revolvers will stay on the high side. So well made.

$550 to $650 is the going rate for a 640 ND, but the 610-3 was definitely optimistic by about 50%. That’s 610 no dash and dash one territory.
