Would Kurusu or a Brazilian member tell us how the word Sim is pronounced?

Is the m pronounced, or does it sound like the Spanish, Si?

Always wondered...

Thanks.

ALSO:

Pronounce, Senhor. Is the h silent?

I should have thought to ask how to say, Senhor, too.

Is that h pronounced?

I can't get that link to work. I got there, but clicking on the referenced voices, they don't sound.

Common debate in San Diego is the pronunciation of "Cabrillo."

Is it "ee-yo" (Spanish) or "ill-o" (Portugese) ? Since the namesake was Portugese many use that pronunciation but a goodly portion of our names are Spanish/Mexican so many pronounce the ee-yo.

If you're from back east there's a town called "La Jaw-la." :D
