My wife went to get her flu shot yesterday, something I did a couple of weeks ago. Figured I should get my COVID shot as we were there. No way do I combine vaccines on the dame day. This is the latest Pfizer multi-type vaccine. Noticed a some arm discomfort later in the day, despite doing lots of massaging. Ended up with a sort of knot lower down my bicep from the injection site. Different. Had none of this with the flu jab.

Got up this morning feeling rested, but about 90 minutes later I realized that I had the concentration powers of a puppy in a field full of squirrels. No lymph node pain or anything nasty like that, just a general sense of fuzziness, mild brain fog if you prefer. Anybody else have a similar experience?

I've had three doses and felt bad for a few days after every one of them.

Shots

Last year we had the Pizer covid shot and booster, that was enough for me and the Mrs. We are both well trained professionals in the health care trade and this year it did not seem within our purview to seek more than our annual flu shot which was completed in Sept. We are looking at the new lung virus injection for seniors (60+) and it may be our next, project. Need to see more research data. We took the pneumonia shot a while back. I prefer to see two years of clinical data before committing to a new untested (20k doses) vaccine. After 40 plus years, I look at all vaccines with a full dose of skeptic awareness, speciously having worked with the Army's anthrax vaccine years ago. There were a number of folks that had bad results.

You're a brave man, Charlie Brown!

With all seriousness and sincerity, I wish you the best for your long term health!

Thanks for the good wishes. My COVID vaccine history has a couple of wrinkles.

#1. Pfizer. Lymph nodes complained a little, but nothing desperate.

#2. Pfizer. No issues, not even a stiff arm.

#3. Moderna. Wiped out for 36 hours. Just call me Mr Lethargy. Very odd.

#4. Pfizer. No issues, not even a stiff arm.

#5. Pfizer. Issues in OP.

I got lucky that I had no issues with any of the covid vaccines, not even the standard arm soreness I'd get with the normal flu shot.

Haven't had a COVID shot in a couple of years. Those gave me flu like symptoms for a day or two. I'm conflicted about the idea of taking additional shots. I'm just not fully convinced of its safety and effectiveness.

But that's me.

Each of us has to make his own choices to the best of his ability and to live with the consequences thereof.

Had the original Pfizer vaccine in two shots back in the winter of 21, soon after it became available, with no problems - then had the covid in August of 21. Had the 1st booster shot in May of 22, and had flu-like symtoms for a day or so - felt absolutely rotten. After that, I did not take second booster - I am finished with the covid vaccine
