The title says it all. This has been my focus for a while, now. After years of aimlessly collecting S&W, I have started to focus on a particular area that I enjoy.
These are all Post War, satin blue, fixed sight revolvers. The N-frames at the top are, 1950 38/44 Heavy Duty 6.5"bbl., Transitional 38/44 Heavy Duty 4"bbl, .44spl. 3rd Model Military. The K-frames are M&P 38spl. in 4" and 2". The I-frames across the bottom are, .32 HE 3.25"bbl, .38 Regulation Police,
Terrier, .32 HE 2"bbl, and last the .38 spl. "Baby" Chief Special.

Very nice group. Are you in search of a K-22?

If those post-1968 magna stocks are flush with the butt of the Terrier someone apparently did a nice job of shortening them by ⅛" to make them fit well.

I'm sure you know the Chiefs Special is a J-frame, not an I-frame.

Thanks TBC, The only K22 that would fit in this group would be the early Pre-45, and I don't know if I have ever seen one, and I know I've never seen one that I could afford! Those stocks on the Terrier were actually on the .32HE snub when I bought it. I've noticed on Gunbroker that someone in Denton, TX sells J-frame stocks that are altered to fit I-frames. That's probably where these came from because I bought that gun from a guy walking around in a Ft. Worth gun show. (I knew someone would catch those stocks!) Yes, I know the Baby isn't an I, technically, sometimes I forget because of the trigger guard and grip frame. I'm trying to find a guy who has a 1950 Army, that I saw last week, but no luck, so far.
