I'll go first;
Pic 1 is almost totality,
Pic 2 is totality.

We had clear skies and 2min 41sec of totality. And beer can chicken and all the fixings.

Pic one is without the special glasses. No. I didn't look directly at the eclipse. Just took a guess with the cell phone camera.

As close as we got to totality here in the Houston area. Taken with a Canon 50D through a 100-400 zoom that had a solar filter on it.

Some through the leaves multiple eclipse shadows out front of the house.

I didn't look at the Sun, but here in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex, it didn't get very dark. Resembled maybe seven PM at about 1:30 PM.
