One of my favorite ‘gun movies’: the Dirty Harry series.

Just got this full size movie poster for our finished basement. 6 bucks on the ‘bay.

My 6 inch model 57 approves (even if it’s not a model 29)

I'd like to find a "Outlaw Josey Wales" poster in about half movie print size. Just not enough room for a full size. ETA: Well if I had looked online before I posted that.....:D

If I ever do find a good spot for a full movie poster it will be the one from inside my "Star Wars" soundtrack album.

I’ve got this one up, framed. Got it back in the 80s, talked a video rental place into selling it. Not necessarily Clint’s best movie, but my favorite poster. Really captures the spirit.

I must not be in the groove. I have a framed, poster-sized version of the cover of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

I don't know if there's any truth to this, but I've always heard that the gun in the movie was actually a 57. Supposedly 29's were too hard to come by at that time, so they used a 57 since it looked identical. It might be a bs internet legend, but that's the story I've heard for years.

My man cave is full of bike parts. If I had a wall poster it would be Rachel women are like fine wine they get better with age.

I did read that. Supposedly, if you look closely in the some of the scenes, you can see '.44 magnum' written on the barrel, indicating it is indeed a model 29.

If we look closely when the bank robber looks up the barrel it appears to be longer. I say they switched between the 6.5” barrel and the 8 3/8” barrel in some scenes to make it look bigger.
