I have always used Photobucket to post my gun photos. Whats up with the block at Photobucket, how much do they charge for 3rd party posting? Can we post directly from our computers? Help!

You must have been away for a while! Photobucket is charging $399 per year for 3rd party posting. I don't think anyone here is paying it. Most have gone to other posting sites or are posting directly from their computers. That so what I am doing.

If you create albums here on the forum, you can just copy the "BB Code", and paste it into your post. That way you are not relying on a third part host. But there are size limitations. Here is one of mine:

I am just storing gun photos here, using another site for "other stuff".

Best Regards, Les

to delta-419,

I switched from PhotoRansom to Postimage.org. The transition was almost seamless. Seriously, the learning curve could probably be measured in minutes.

I'm very happy with the results. :)

Thanks for this pointer! I was wondering what other service I should use. I just signed up and messed with it.

I agree - it's easy to use.
