Can you find any? Go to Alliant's site for load data. Remember, it isn't a new Bullseye.

nolyj
got the 6.1 for 9mm off the Alliant site? reduce by 10% for start load.
just curious on first hand experience with it, metering? etc.

I keep looking for some BE-86......

want to see if it is better than the new CFE pistol I received.
So far, CFE is a "Junior" Unique with 96% power and equal to
w231 in my 357 mag 125gr Jhp loads.

I have the opportunity to get a few pounds of it but not sure if it will feed/flow consistently through a powder measure

I have used BE-86 in 9mm with the following loads.

5.6 grs under 125 gr Zero FMJ/FN 1164.3 fps out of 4.2 inch Barrel
5.3 grs under 125 gr SNS coated LFN 1133.6 fps out of 4.2 inch barrel

These were 10 shot averages with the screens 10 feet from the muzzle. The powder meters very well and it shoots pretty clean. Both loads were very accurate for me. The burn rate according to Alliant is between Unique (on the fast side) and Power Pistol (on the slow side). I have also used this powder in 357 Magnum ( mid range loads), 40 S&W, and 45 ACP with good results in all.

Thank you, just the info I was looking for, I plan on picking some BE 86,
but wanted to insure it will work in a square deal or an RCS uniflow, measure. planned at starting at 5.3 grains 10% below alliants listed weight
