Fun new purchase. It's built on a Ruger Police Service Six frame with a Davidson 1:14 slabside bull barrel, Power lug with triple lock conversion, Wichita rib sight, and a rosewood pat. pend. Hogue monogrip (appears to be hand cut and checkered, marked "POWER5" inside).

It's received a thorough action job with an overtravel stop, pulling at 2 lbs even in single action and somewhere north of 9 in double. The cylinder has chamfered and individually numbered charge holes. The holster was found by a previous owner at a gun show and re-shaped to fit the gun. It also makes my 3" J-frame feel like the lightest, most agile gun ever built!

I've never seen a Ruger '6' series build up for PPC before. Very cool.

Both Ruger Sixes and K-frames were the common PPC guns back in the day. There was a smathering of Pythons, but not many. None of the PPC guns were really meant for heavy .357 loads, as the tuning was so fine, the heavy loads would throw them out of time in a hurry. They're really meant to be fired with wadcutters only. That's a beautiful revolver, and the work by Power Custom is top notch.

Powers and Glenn were considered by many to be the best! Davis was a west coast guy and he wasn't any slouch either.

There are no fuzz on the sights but the fuzz behind the sights if you missed with that one. That's what they told me when I missed.
