PPK recall

Home at last!

I missed Big Brown yesterday afternoon. Found a sticker on my door that he'll be back after 5PM today. I shipped it on March 26th, signed for at the factory on March 30th. 76 days from the time I shipped it until the delivery attempt yesterday. I'll be in a lawn chair on the front walk waiting this afternoon.

Shipped mine out on March 27th,received it this past Tuesday,a bit dirty,barrel and feed ramp had soot or something similar to it ,cleaned up in a few minutes.The safety decocker lever seemed to be a little easier to use.

I just called S&W today on mine since some folks are getting theirs back.
One thing I noticed is that it took them about 7 days to process receipt after it got there.

If you sent in a PPK -- They said that they are currently waiting on a spring to complete the work. They said to expect another 2 weeks

If you sent in a PPK/S -- They are being worked on and sent back.

PPK/S recall

Dropped my PPk/S at the Headquarters in Springfield Ma. the last week in March. Just got it back a week ago. Good Luck .

I had called the factory about two weeks ago & was told that my PPK/S was received on 3/26 and I could expect it to be another four to six weeks before it was returned.

Three days later, it arrived........go figure.

Not only did they repair the decocking lever assembly, the ramps were polished too.

I've had it back out at the range a few times & it seems as though they've done a fantastic job.

Hang in there folks, it'll be soon now.
