Last month I called S&W for a replacement hammer spring for my 15-22. The conversation was courteous (as it always is) and I was assured I'd receive my new spring in seven to ten days.

When the spring had not arrived after 4 1/2 weeks I checked to see if my request had fallen through the cracks. I was assured the order was still waiting to be fulfilled. But, it was being delayed by S&W's move to a new distribution center. I would receive the spring as soon as possible.

I trust them, but I wanted to get my 15-22 back in action. So, immediately after ending my conversation with S&W, I placed an order for two springs with Midwest Gun Works (Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Gun Parts). That was Monday. Today is Thursday and I have my springs. One is already in my 15-22; the other is a spare in my parts box. That's what I call service. No, they weren't free, but I can afford $4.50 per spring plus postage.

Next time I need parts for any of my guns I'm going to check with these folks first.

Bought a rifle from them a few month back. Price was way below all others, FFL had it in 48 hours later.
Definitely a place to check when in need of somrthing.

I needed a part for a Browning and they were the only place I could find it. Price was great but shipping was expensive. I would buy from them again.
