Eight years ago, my wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I took her to have chemo and radiation treatment every day for 6 weeks, then she had a couple of hospital stays to be treated with radioactive isotopes. She has been cancer free since then.
Cancer can be cured.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers, they are all much appreciated. We had a set back on Monday but I think all the prayers saved my wife's life. Here's the story: I work nights, from about 3 to 11. I had planned to meet up with a gentleman to buy something, and was hoping to do that on Sunday. My wife told me she had an MRI appointment on Sunday however and I wanted to take her to that, so I made arrangements for Monday and Tuesday off from work, and made plans to meet on Monday to buy the item. After my purchase I came home and had dinner with my wife. She went upstairs for a shower at about 7:00 PM and shortly thereafter I thought I heard something while in the basement. I came out of the basement and heard her screaming, found her on the floor in the shower. Somehow was able to get her out since she couldn't stand up, her right leg was like a cooked piece of spaghetti. She couldn't talk to tell me what was wrong and I thought she had a stroke. I carried her to our bed and called 911. She did have a stroke, and now cannot speak or walk. She did make great improvements over the last 24 hours however. I'm praying for her full recovery and I think my prayers and the prayers of all the great people on this forum and others are helping her. Now I'm sure not everyone will believe this but I took my rosary down from my bedroom mirror and prayed to God and Jesus for help and guidance last night. Now I'm not a very religious person but I do believe in God, just to make that clear. Anyway, after praying I wrapped the rosary around my fingers and fell asleep holding it in my hand. I almost always sleep on my left side yet I woke up on my right side, opened my eyes which were a little blurry, and then something immediately caught my eye. It was the rosary, perfectly aligned in the middle of my wife's pillow ! Even the cross was aligned so that the top was where my wife's head would have been. A coincidence ? I doubt it. And, my wife made great improvements today. Thanks to all of you once again, Randy aka Shoo
