Prayers Please

Isis, Prayers from Texas sent. God Speed to the young man & prayers for you & yours to ease your pain.

Your fellow drifter, Timn8er

I'm so sorry to hear this news, Isis. I am sure your guy and his daughter must feel that the pins have been knocked out from under them with this unexpected and unwelcome event.

My prayers for them are for comfort, healing, and peace at a time when all three can seem so far away. Until the pain and shock of this loss begin to feel even a little less overwhelming, all of you can rest in God's care, knowing that He knows exactly what you are going through. He even has the power, through His love, to turn this terrible thing into something redeeming and comforting for each of you, because He is God of good and life, not evil and death.

For today, though, His arms are open and can provide the solace that nothing else can. I am truly sorry for this loss.

Prayers send multiple times over. I am so sorry for your loss. My mother died a month after turning 43. I was about to turn 10. I have been affected by it immeasurably. So much that I looked at a calendar and figured out when I was her exact age (45 days past her 43rd birthday) and went to church to say a prayer. I think of my 2 kids and wonder how they'd survive without me.

We never know when our number is up. Some fat slobs who chain smoke and drink a case of beer a day live till they're 80. Other marathon running vegans drop dead at 40.

Family is there for just this. Stay close and you'll get through it.

Very sorry to hear this! My sincere condolences and prayers sent!

My deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your wonderful support and concern. Your posts do help!
I became a widow at 36. Just as suddenly. I find myself thinking about that all over again.
It's heartbreaking to see another young woman going through that. She knows I am here for her.

I'm sending a very big, very tight hug to all you guys and gals.
Too bad it's electronic. I give good hugs.
Drifter's been getting a lot of 'em.
I haven't got to see Jess yet. The wake is tomorrow.
Thank you all again.
