Pre 18 and 18 no dash box question

Hi. I am wanting to get boxes for a few of my pre 18 and 4 screw 18 no dash.
My question is do all of the pre 18s use the gold box with 4" sticker on end and what box does a 18 no dash use? Thank you

Most likely, these are what you're looking for. There is also a blue version of the pre-18 box and it would depend on the year of your pre-18.

By the way, if you get desperate, you can try this trick. A lot of the old S and W boxes were simply relabeled for the newer versions. Chances are you can find an 18-2 box and under the label will be the original model 18 end print. You want to look for the blue boxes that don't have Bangor Punta in the logo. This 18-2 probably is a repurposed Model 18 box. The labels peel off. I use a hairdryer to warm them up a bit.

My 1952 K22 Combat Masterpiece came from S&W in a K22 Masterpiece box (numbered to my gun) with the CM label stuck on the end.

Thank you so much for the info and photos. I have 3 gold boxes but none have the 4" sticker. Would like to find someone who makes them. A couple of the boxes are for early pre 17 guns though.
