That would make your gun a c. 1954 5 screw "Combat Masterpiece".

"Super condition" is a relative term for value. To me that would mean it has 98% or better of its original factory blue finish. Is that correct?

Welcome to the Forum.
The Catalog says your .22 Combat Masterpiece was born in 1954.

i will try to upload pics. it has 3 screws on the side one larger one by top of hammer.2 smaller ones by triger and one low in front of triger

yes it is a real nice gun but it is a 4 screw

If indeed is in 98% condition, it's in the $800 ball park if it has the original grips. Is the gun's serial # stamped on the backside of the right grip? You'll also see that your gun is a 5 screw.

thanks to everyone for your replies.my dad bought this gun new.and he is no longer with us.im gonna be forced to sell this gun dont want to but have no choice.dont want to break any laws in doing so if anyone knows how i can do this or wants it let me know how i can sell it legaly. thanks

Under Federal law, you can sell to anyone in your state with no restrictions, but to out of state buyers, it would have to go through a licensed dealer on the buyers end. Some states have additional requirements, so you need to comply with whatever applies in your jurisdiction.

Do you have the original box? That will add to the value and worth looking around for it! Confirm grips are number matching to the gun, then:

1. Advertise in the Classified on this forum with better photos and for free.

2. When someone buys it, have them ship money order and their FFL dealer's license to you.

3. Take the license and gun to your local dealer and pay them to ship to your buyer.

Simple as 1, 2, 3.
