.44 HE 4th model target 6 1/2"

Very nice metal with the exception of corrosion under the front sight. Sight blade dinged. Wrong grips. No box.

$2370 plus sales tax (if applicable), shipping ($65 plus insurance) and transfer. Shipped to me (a non-ffl), it would have been just under $2700.

Are these pistols bringing that much or was this two stubborn bidders?

I was a winner today, but for a lot less. With fees and shipping I will be under 500 for an early 1905 4rth M&P. I did some searching GB, GI and Cabela's and then made my max bid last night. I needed one with fixed sights to go with my target.

Nice piece, but I wouldn’t pay that much. I have a triple lock, 2nd model, 4th model 3 24-3’s and a 24-6. Mostly paid half that amount each.

There was a triple lock in the auction that was well used and hammered for 2250. I am not in position to buy that much gun, but I would have if I could have. Probably too much sweat for many here, but it was perfect for me.

It had a King sight in the rear and probably the same in the front. The "King" sight was visible in the pictures, but not mentioned in the add.

I was watching that one. The high polish blue might be correct with that SN. My S103761 has the satin blue (1954 ship date).

Two bidders for sure. As noted: the condition, no box and not original grips. Definitely a pass even $500 less after you tack on all the fees. Just my opinion…

Mine hammered at 350. I just payed for it, 533.59. Should be here on Wednesday if history dictates. Then 45 bucks to the FFL.

So, if my math is correct, 65% over hammer. But, I figured that going in.

I paid $1800 for one not long ago in as good or better shape, with high polish, and it came with cokes. So I think this one was overpriced.
