Pre 27 Question

Probably never own on

Well Leo, I guess I'll never have one then.

I just recently sold my 1957 4" pre-27.
It was a special order from H. H. Harris Co in Chicago Il.
There's a thread on them and I think there were only about 25 of them produced
but I have never seem an actual number as to how many there were.

They are pricey. ;)

Rubiranch Pretty much sums it up. I stumbled upon this one at a local gun shop earlier this year

Apologies for the terrible pictures, she cleaned up pretty well.

My 6.5" 357 is serial 123 away (later) from Richard's. Shipped 6 weeks later. Doesn't mean anything but the serial caught my attention.

Just wondering if you ever got around to lettering that great gun? If so, I would love to add the info to the 4” thread referenced above. :)

I completely forgot about it until this thread popped up, I promise I’ll get to it!

That being said I believe it falls between known guns shipped to H.H. Harris of Chicago and it was bought in a gun shop 15 miles west of Chicago so I have a pretty good idea where it was shipped to!
