I’m looking at this pre 29. So there is 3 screws on the side plate. Then it has a screw on trigger guard makes it a 4 screw? It doesn’t have coke grips. Is it supposed to have coke grips?

I would say it’s exec- VG condition which would make it worth 2k to 3k according to switch Wesson 5th edition. Serial number is S145xxx

It also comes in case with cleaning tools

That SN doesn't match for a 4 screw 44 Magnum; they started, according to the Standard Catalog at around S167500 in 1957. Are you sure there's not another screw on that side plate? Is it a 6.5 inch barrel? How many grooves on the backstrap? The lack of "cokes" takes $500-$750 off what the value would otherwise be although whatever stocks are on it may have value too. The case and tools are valuable if correct for the gun. We need pictures.

collectordude, you may be missing another screw being covered by the grips. Yours should be a 5 screw gun, and maybe even a first year gun. Here is a picture of a 5 screw gun (not a .44 magnum, just a snub nose) to show ALL the screws. Yours should be see 4, plus there is one in front on the trigger guard. Hopefully, this helps you find yours.

I know you don’t have pictures, but if you can figure a way to show pictures, folks can give you a more exact value.

A 44 Magnum in the S145000 range will be a 5-screw with coke bottle stocks. Assuming condition is very good with incorrect stocks, value would be in the $2500 range. The correct case would be dark blue with a blue satin lining. The actual type of case depends on when the 44 Magnum was shipped.
