Pre lock 586-5 L Comp box question

I just picked up this 3 in 586-5 L comp pre lock. From what I understand is this was a run of only 200. My question is when box was this shipped in? Blue performance center box, or aluminum case? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have an answer to your question but that looks amazing and worthy of a long range day of consuming magnums

From what the book says it should be the aluminum looking case. I am wrong often though. Found one on eBay

Is yours a 7 shot? If so it was a camfour exclusive and should’ve came with the locking pc case.
