The revolver pictured below had been listed and relisted on a well known auction site for months, languishing, without a single bid. Well, I, and only I, saw fit to place a bid and, I can proudly say I won.

I am shocked that, with the depth of the collectors in this group, that this just sat there for months on end. It’s obvious that Bubba’s Custom puts out some of the finest collectible firearms on the market today. Notice how the petal and leaf engraving on this classic is modestly highlighted by the meticulously fitted grips. The gold trigger overlay adds a magnificent final touch on this treasure.

I’ll get some better photos once it arrives but I couldn’t wait to share this with you.

You guys missed a good one!

Right purteeeee.

Get gold on the hammer, thumb latch, and ejector rod, and sideplate screws.
Pearl grips with gold medallions.

Do it right!

I think it's a pre-war.

Does Bubba's have fresh crickets?

You guys can laff, but you may be looking at this generation's Woof Klarz guns.

I think Pace is on.... uh, onto something;):D

Ok, next time I see you we'll test-fit some 19-teens gold medallion grips to it. I'm down to 2 pair, but one should work just fine. Beautiful walnut, if I do say so myself. Not magna's, but the one's you've got on it now are expendable. If'n it were me, I'd go for ivory. And it just so happens I've got a set of half completed, as in not fitted yet. If you feel like a little autumn project with a file, ivory cuts real easy. You could make that baby in to a thing of everlasting beauty. We know you work with leather, ivory is only a little harder. Same principle. Cut stuff away till its perfect, kind of like metal working! :D

Now that I look at it a little closer, I'm thinking the ugly wood grips obscure a good part of the engraving. Maybe it calls for service style grips to bring out its real inner beauty.
