SCSW 4th mentions a shipment of 5-inch barreled pre-15s made for the Missouri highway patrol in 1952. Does anyone have a list of the serial numbers in this shipment? Thanks.

The numbers are all listed in an SWCA Journal article, published in the Spring of 2011. They went out in four shipments: June 13, 1952 (50 units), October 3, 1952 (225 units), October 15, 1952 (60 units) and October 13, 1953 (30 units).
I own one that was in the second shipment.

Nice revolver, and thanks for the info. I'll check my last issue of the Journal and see if reprints are available. Looking at K2053xx. Has a couple of issues. No provenance. Numbers match, but has a target hammer that I'm about 90% sure ain't right. Doesn't look refinished, but I'm a poor judge at that. Some "neglect" corrosion spots on the frame, a 1/8" inch rust star on the left side of the barrel. I'll probably buy it anyway. Lol.
K2053xx is too high to be one of the MSHP revolvers.
