Just got this today. More junk for my safe. Numbers match all three places, butt, barrel, cylinder. Nice & tite, excellent timing & mechanics.

Serial number K 1352XX. Any guesses as to ship date?

Late 1951 according to SCSW3. The relieved target grips may not be correct on it, but they sure look good. For an accurate shipping date and accessory inventory, a letter from Mr.Jinks is required. -S2

Nice revolver! Congratulations. I hope it will come out of your safe from time to time in order to stretch its legs at the range, and when it does I further hope you will give us a range report.

I have Pre-18 K115589, which dates to Sept. 1951. Even though you would need a letter to date your gun precisely, I get a vibe that it might be from early to mid 1952. I agree with S2 about the possibility (I would say probability) the target stocks are a later addition.

Hey, that looks familiar! :)

My K22 CM is K123900 and shipped 10/23/51. My K38 CM is K155800 and shipped 11/5/52. Odds are yours went out early part of 1952.

Yeah, that does look familiar! Nice one you found there, Im alway's amazed how smooth these old veteran's are. I lucked out on a 1950 vintage one with box and put a set of relieved target's on it that I reserected from the dead. Enjoy that one and if it shoot's as well as mine(it should!) you will be a happy camper!

Thanx Guys

That's about the time frame I was thinkin'. I'm sure it'll shoot great. I had an 18-3 that I swapped for a new SIG 220 in 22lr., last year. I got to missin' it, and it's Jorden Border Patrol holster by Don Hume, so I replaced both, when given a chance.

It came with diamond Magna's numbered to something else. I took those targets off my really crappy K38 Target
