Trying for first time to attach photos, so excuse me if I muff
it up. Attaching photos of Pre-War SAT. Wondered if everybody
who got involved in earlier posts could comment on authenticity
or lack thereof based on photos. Talked to David Carroll and he
informed me that Repros. he had in past were stainless steel.
Magnet definetly sticks to this one. Your comments would be
appreciated. Thank You. AB

Most stainless steel used in the firearm industry will stick to a magnet.

I'm no expert. But it looks righteous to me and like mine that I've had for many years before repros.

I have a repo that I bought to USE when needed at the time. When you have things that can go for $1000.00 :rolleyes: there are bound to be scammers out there ready to take your money. Be careful. Just saying. :)

Thank You all for your responses. Always appreciated when fellow members take time to assist.

The real ones have a handle made of steel that is nickel plated. The handle sticks to a magnet.

The repro I have has a handle that will not stick to a magnet.
