I'm looking at a used 22 cal rifle, it's a Savage MKll action, Liga Finnfire 18" threaded barrel in a MTD Field stock. The photos show that it's in very good condition.
I have Bergera B14R and CZ457AT1 that I shoot casually but never had a "built" rifle like this.
Any info about this gun would be appreciated..

I may be showing my ignorance, but didn't know that a Lilja Finnfire barrel would fit on a MkII action. I'm not a huge fan of the Savage MKII though and would much rather have your Bergara or CZ actions.

The Savage is pretty generally regarded as a great rifle... for the money. As diyJ98 said, if I were building a rifle I would start elsewhere... by the time you finish, the difference in starting price between a Savage and something like a CZ is not significant.

I have a Tikka T1X and a CZ457 and both are very accurate. Both of mine are in KRG Bravo stocks, and a good stock can make a big difference. My CZ started as an ATOne, but the Boyds stock didn't fit me at all.

.22s are fun and you can never have too many. But don't be surprised if your b14r out shoots it.
