Presentation Case From 1975

My Model 29-2 case has all of the blue covering deteriorated and most of it is loose from the styrofoam base. What is the best way to remove the remaining covering from the styrofoam. The styrofoam is in good condition with no repairs needed. I am planning on using some felt to recover the styrofoam.

Here's one of my cases he's done, same Styrofoam
vintage variety, 6 1/2" 29

Be careful!

A vacuum cleaner and a tooth brush(use the wife's)! Be careful what glue you use! Most contact cements will melt the styro foam!

Save youself some aggravation

Joe has done several cases for me. I thought about trying it my self, Joe actually advised me on how to do it. I thought it was easier to get him do to it. He has done a lot of them and they look perfect. Maybe if I had a bunch of them to do, I would try it. But for just a few, it was well worth having him do it. I was completely satisfied and consider it money well spent.
