i just bought a presentation case for 35.00 that i am sending to joe to have re flocked when it arives. it comes with the tools and paperwork too. it is for my model 29 with a 8 3/8 barrell. i think i got a great deal. can't wait to get it.

Unless it's been run over by a truck I'd say $35 ain't a bad price.
I've seen pics of boxes redone by Joe, they look pretty good.

Which type of liners?

The 29-2 could have been shipped in any one of the four different types of liners that S&W used in the Mahogany Presentation Cases. The original post from Saxonpig was written in 2010 so he might not have any cases left. If you email me I might be able to help you with a case!
