I have located a couple of 2.5" 66-1 and 66 no dash's. They are NIB with correct everything. They are marked $579.99 each. What do you think of the price?

I'd pay $450 for every NIB p&r 66 2.5" that I came across (particularly when you look at the price of new stainless 357's). I have not seen one go for $350 in several years. $580 is too high, but if they are NIB, I would probably pay somewhere close to $500 each, (and I already own several of them). Those 2.5" 66's are very hot right now, and they are not making any more K-frame .357's ...
If they are indeed NIB (P&R) with papers, tools, etc., he'll get $579 each (and the buyer(s) will have a smile from ear to ear). If he's got 'em in a shop he might have to have a little patience but on the Internet they'd go fairly quickly... My .02 pesos.
I think the $579 price for these two early model 66 snubbies is about right, if they are new in the box. So far this year I have bought one 66-4 snubby and two 19-5 snubbies, all in about 98% condition, and my average price for them is right on $500 each. For a NIB version in the -0 or -1 configuration I would expect to pay over $500.
