Price Check on 686+

I recently saw a used 4" 686-4 Plus (7 shot) with box at one of the local fun shops. Dealer had it marked at around $600, but will sell it for $515 + tax. It looked in excellent condition, although a little dirty.

I'm not sure how much of a premium 7-shots command over 6-shots. I've checked GB, and prices range from mid 300's to 600's for both models, and there are not that many "pre-lock" 7-shots available.

Anyway, is this a fair deal?

I picked up a 686-4 plus a few months back for $528. Superb revolver well worth what I paid for it.

IMHO $515 is a fair deal for that revolver. I feel the 686-4 is the best variant of the 686 series, and the 7-shot 686-4 was only made for oneyear, 1996 IIRC.
