What's the going rate on an all original good shooter quality 19-3 with the 2.5" barrel? No box. Some minor wear and tear on the blueing. No rust or anything. Just 40yrs of handling and shooting marks. Below are pics of the actual gun. The biggest issue is just below the cylinder release. Thanks in advance.

The last time I saw one for sell in my area (SW Idaho) the asking price was $800. That was a couple of years ago. I purchased my 19-3 snubbie in 2014 and paid $650.

I wouldn't expect to find it where I shop tagged at less than $800, maybe buy it at $750. Paid $541 for my 2.5 inch 19-3 in nickel. . . . .but that was 13 years ago.

Haven't seen a 19-3 snub for sale in a local store for a long time. A 19-4 2 1/2 sold for $850 here a few months ago. Going rate on GB for high condition 19-3 snubs is over $1k. Anything under $800 here in AZ would be a 'friends and family' price.

I paid $925 for my most recent (5/24) 2.5" 19, a -3. It's in very nice condition, with hint of usual wear, and came with nice combats. I generally see nice 2.5" P&R 19s going for > $1k w/o box, about $150 to $200 more than P&R 2.5" 66s.

That's not a bad looking M19-3. That's probably an early 1970's gun, it has the "lazy ampersand" on the left side of the barrel, but the right side of the barrel and 4-line registration have the regular one. I'd say easily an $800 gun, snubbies are popular. I've got a M66-1 like that but a little newer (1980).

I would be shocked to see a Model 19-3 that good for $800. I would expect more like $1100 - $1200 here. Perfect with box and tools maybe $1500.

Note: The shorter barrel adds a lot. If we were talking about a typical 19-3 with a six inch barrel it might sell for $800.

M19-3 2 1/2" barrel

I picked this one up in Washington State, back in December of 2020. It cost me $629.00 tax included from an LGS.

I'm thinking $800 - $1,000 depending on your local market
Only about $750-800 around here, even though though it's blue steel revolver Purgatory. Seems everybody wants plastic fantastics.

These days, I'd say anywhere from $800 to $1000. The condition is not perfect, but it does not look bad, does not look abused, and the 2 1/2" barrel is still the most desired length.

Except for some minor finish issues, I think you have a very nice 19-3 snubbie. The color case hardening on the hammer and trigger are great, overall the bluing is good, it's a P&R revolver, and it appears that the magna stocks are in pretty good shape. It's probably a $1K revolver around here. Years ago I picked up this minty nickel Model 19-4 (1978) for $550, but I wouldn't sell it now for less than $1400.

I think the last nickeled one like that in my possession got slick-talked out from under me for $1400...I now see blued ones in this area with similar price tags...The world as we knew it is slipping away......Ben

That should be around $800-1000
