Price Check on a 649

I recently ran across a S&W model 649, no dash, with the tri-alpha prefix AHT for sale locally. The asking price was listed at $475. It came with Hogue boot grips and the original wood grips (no box or papers). I only saw pictures of the gun, and have not had a chance to inspect it, but the owner claims to have only put 100 rounds through it. Is this a good price for this particular model? Also, are there any potential problems I should look for with this particular model.

I own a 649 that's just about the same era as that one...it bears "AHN" as it's serial number prefix.

I've got about $425 tied up into mine. Offer him $400 and go from there.

The 649 Bodyguard is an awesome little Jaybird.
