There is a pre-lock NIB PC 657 2 5/8" barrel .41MAG that is available to me and I am wondering about how much I should offer the seller. Any and all help would be appreciated.

I recently bought one without the box and docs. It doesn't have the full lug barrel and has been shot some. I paid $550. Things sometimes sell a little cheaper in Miss. I turned down $750 for it. If your gun is really a PC it may be worth up to $1,000. I think it has to have the full lug to be a PC. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The street price on the lock version of the current PC 657-5 is $850 and up.
The information I have says that 150 of the pre-lock Performance Center 657-4 Defensive Revolvers were produced for Lew Horton Distributors in 1999. So I would think the small production number would be worth a little extra over the current model...if you can get it for less than $850 it's a good deal, $850-$1000 is still ok.

Roboto, to answer your email about the Ahrends grips on PC 657-4 (upper left in photo below).
They are very concealable and comfort and control are good with 220 cast bullets at 1000fps. For better control I do prefer the finger groove Ahrends (upper right) on the Jovino 657.

Thank you for the info. I just bought a PC 657-4 today for $775. I thought it was a great value. Mine is number 48; if they only made 150 that is really interesting.
