I have a deal pending with a guy for a few guns from his collection. One of them is an EXCELLENT condition Model 13 with a 4” bull barrel in the original box with tools and all. He wants a pretty steep price for the 13. I don’t know enough about it to know whether it’s worth it or not. Thanks in advance.

Don't know the current market but I do have two 4 inchers, one blue, one nickel, no box with the blue and both in high condition. After some trading the value of the blue came out to $700 and I paid $850 for the Nickel, as I recall. Now, I'm a sucker for the 357 Magnum M&P HB (model 13) so I was very happy with both transactions. The one you describe would likely sell for much more on the open market. I'm talking the -1 variation now.

Dash number? Those things sell for a lot more than I consider them to be worth. I would not pay more than 900 and it would have to be real righteous. Now that I said that, I bet it is 1200. Before I ever spent 1200, I would put money with it, and get a 3.5" model 27

The best I ever shot combat was a model 65, and that was 135 OTD and brand new. Yeah I sold it#@&%$!!

I recently paid a bit over $1.1 k for a very nice 13-2 3" RB. Those are very much sought after and would get more in most markets than a 4". I considered that to be a reasonable price considering what they are going for. Not a great price, but reasonable. I bought it used-consignment in a store where they knew what they were worth.

I gave $700 for this 13-1 in 2022. Came to me wearing factory magnas in nice shape. No box or tools.
