Price Check on S&W PPK/S-1 NIB

I am thinking of buying a like new in the box (with all paperwork) S&W Maine made Walther PPK/S-1 that is on the recall list but was never sent back in. It is a private sale and they are asking $650. I am kinda on the fence on this one.

Good price? How much of pain is it to send it back to S&W?

With the current market:
Blued would be a very fair deal and if stainless not that bad.
We have one of each, post recall, and they run without issue.
Very accurate.

Always ride the hammer down when using the decocker/safety to save wear & tear.

Thanks.. I should have mentioned it is stainless. I do not plan on shooting it. Just keeping it as is. I have another PPKS I can shoot.

I inherited a Talo premier laxer engraved PPK/s made by smith in Maine. Mine was subject to recall. The gun has to go to Walther in Arkansas. Call them, they will give you a shipping ticket and you can use the usps. I sent mine without a magazine and it came back to my doorstep in 2 weeks with a new finger extension mag.
