I want a new 9mm, decided on a M&P full size. Looked around and guess I missed the boat. I called a gun shop and they have a m&p pro for 630 plus tax. Bnib. With our current situation no shop will even price me one. I rarely sell guns anymore so more than likely this is a lifer for me. Should I?

Is it a local store or a big box store like Gander? My M&P 9 FS was around $500 out the door at a local shop. Given, it is the pro so its worth more. Depending on what it comes with, its probably not a horrible deal given the current events.

Local shop. The pro come with nite sites, back straps, 2) 17 round mags supposed pro trigger. I'm going to look and perhaps buy after work but at this point they won't even hold a gun even for 2.5 hours.

I paid $589 +t&t at my local shop for a standard m&p 40. I know that's like $20 over MSRP but these guys are having such a hard time getting guns in I wasn't about to miss out on the last one available in a 60 mile radius

I just picked up my full size M&P 9mm (non-pro - it's the no external safety/no mag safety version with 2 mags) over my lunch break today from my LGS. I purchased it through Bud's Gunshop online and had it shipped to them.

Total price out the door was $571.47 from Buds. My LGS charged $35 for the paperwork.

Hope that helps.

I picked up my FS M&P 9 with 2 17 round mags no safety's for 525 yesterday at my LGS. He listed it for 549. I hemmed a bit on trade I was getting for a Glock 35. We compromised It worked for me. I love the gun :)

Looks like I should go ahead, 50 bux in this rape happy times seems far enough.

Yep. In the grand scheme of things 50 bux diff in price is not much of a price to pay

This should make you feel better about your purchase!!!!! I had to pay $619 at Cabelas for the 9 pro (Product: Model M&P9) 3 months ago after waiting 3 months for them to "locate one". The only upside is extra mags were on the shelf for $25! Good luck on that these days :)

Picked it up tonight for 600 plus tax..I feel good about it, but searching high and low for 1-2 extra mags. Not at 100 bux apiece though! Any ideas?

At least you got them down a little. These are crazy times. You don't want to know what I paid for mine 5-6 years ago. Mags were hard to find because it was so new... Ammo was easy to find and cheap.

You might just have to ride the storm out on finding mags. No way would I pay that much for mags.

What I really hate is when people that don't even own a sling shot go out and buy everything in sight, then turn around and sell it for WAY over what they actually paid for it. Ain't free enterprise "great"...

FWIW, I paid $545 out the door for a full frame no safety 9mm in Dallas on 12/31/12 and there were about two left in stock then.

Thanks guys, I feel like I got a fair deal and really couldn't believe they came down 35.00. Unfortunately I watched the guy buy 10 magazines for 30.00 each. Dang it...

You got a fair deal. I think the Pros were going for 610 in these parts (NH).

I hear your noise on mags. I'm glad I have 2 of the 17 rounders I back ordered 2 more 17 rounders from Cabelas website last night to the tune of 40 apiece should see them in about 15 weeks if they are even legal by then
