Got the email alert and snagged one. There's a one mag limit, but at least they got them!

They must have not gotten many. With a limit of 1 they sold out pretty quickly.

Looks like I was able to pick up (1) mag from them. Received order confirmation in email. We'll see if it actually ships.

I saw it this morning a little after 5am. Was going to get 2, but 1 mag limit with almost a $11 shipping and $2.50 in taxes...I wasn't that desperate. I passed. I know they are hard to find, can be about $50+ on gunbroker, but I'll just wait it out.

I've ordered several things from Primary recently, they are GTG.

11 dollars shipping? Glad I missed out as well. They will get you 1 way or another I guess. 11 bucks for something that weighs so little is thievery Hope my honest LGS gets some in stock. Know I can trust him to be fair and honest

considering it'll be sent USPS for $2.

it's a very involved process, that handling.

I don't understand the bad mouthing of this supplier. I posted the link for those that might want the product... regardless of the price. If you don't like the price, move on.

I selected to have mine ship UPS ground & they are charging me $10.74 plus of course I'm not paying any tax. They are charging $24.99 for the magazine which is not highway robbery.

When I go to UPS.com & plug in the shipping & delivery info, the rate for a 1lb box is $9.28. Granted, I'm sure they get some discount but then they do have to pay folks in their shipping dept & even small boxes can easily cost over a dollar.

So what is the problem folks?

I just shipped a mag yesterday to someone in HI for $3.14 first class mail w/delivery confirmation. That's likely the problem.

But I didn't choose first class mail. I selected UPS ground & what I'm being charged is perfectly in line with what I would expect.

TheMaineEvent says he was charged $3 for shipping USPS.

What is wrong with these rates?

I know there is frustration with shipping rates, however
$10 to ship via UPS to a residential address is a very accurate rate. Additionally UPS charges a surcharge to rual areas as well so it can affect the shipping rate.
With UPS shipping you get the status of the shipment online and the expected delivery date.

Why bash this supplier? Have you looked at a UPS rate chart lately? We ship hundreds of packages each day with UPS & any 1 lb box shipping to say zone 4 would be over $9.

Where is the thievery? Why call them dishonest?

Well damn. I didn't see that I could choose different carrier. It was about $10.74 for UPS. For USPS it was $4.77. Hmmm, I would definately would be all over it if I could have gotten two in the same transaction.
Oh we'll, next time.

I have already received my shipping notification and am very impressed by this company. This is my 1st order with them.

Got my shipping notification, too, and while I'm pleased to see it I'm not surprised. They're lightening quick when it comes to shipping ordered items out the door.

Primary arms is a good company. I placed an order Saturday night and 8am Monday morning it was shipped. Ups dragged a bit but got my stuff in 4 days.

I almost bought one but when I saw the UPS shipping, I cancelled. Didn't want to spend $35 on a mag that normally costs $17+shipping. But before I cancelled, I tried to change the shipping option but it wouldn't let me...only choice was UPS. Maybe it depended on where you were located.

I got my email notification at 4:17 am. I didn't see it until 2 hours later, and they were gone. I would have ordered one if I could. Why? Because I am one of the desperate ones.
Only have 1 stock mag & one 50rd Black Dog mag, and it looks like a hi-cap mag ban is going to pass through the state legislature, so I need stock, and a lot of the backorders I have that won't ship until between July & December will most likely be cancelled if this stupid ban is passed.

I am loaded for bear with 5.56 mags, so am about ready to start offering those on trade for S&W 15-22 mags if I can find folks that are stocked up on those, but a bit light on 5.56 mags.

I didn't see the options for shipping because they were sold out within 20 minutes of them emailing the in-stock notice. I just saw someone posting 11 bucks for shipping and that is absurd for such a small and light package. Granted that falls on UPS and their crazy prices. The USPS option is more in line and I'd have no problem paying that.

I wasn't bashing Primary Arms, their price is very realistic for now....the jab was more at places like 44mag and others charging 50 dollars or more for the magazine. Yes capitalism at it's finest and I fully support it! I also support our 1st Amendment right to say what a ripoff it is what some of these places are charging that's all.

I've been able to buy plenty of magazines for my Shield at my LGS for 34.99 which is lower than MSRP. No tax here in NH either. I know when the 15-22 magazines come in I won't be raked over the coals thats all like some places are doing.

Our web site defaults to UPS but there is a drop down menu that says more carriers. We offer USPS everywhere. These mags could have gone Priority Mail for $6-7
