The only part of this I can answer is that it will fit. Anything that is 1/2X28 threads will fit on our rifle.

You will need to head over to tacticools website to get the barrel vice grips to remove the flash hider.

It will fit fine (on threaded barrel).... may need spacers (shims) for timing.

I have one on my SCAR 16, works well for it's intended purpose, but is obnoxious shooting indoors. (outside not so bad) I don't really see a benefit using it on a 22lr with its minimal muzzle blast.

If your looking for a compensator, maybe one designed for 22lr would be more appropriate.

Just my humble opinion......

This is perfect for the 15-22; I have one on mine. Just a warning ... You need to clean it every 1,000 rounds or the powder debris gets hard as a rock! I use an ultrasonic cleaner on mine. 10 minutes and it's done.
Yeah but that one is designed for a .22 pistol, one of their 1911 .22 converion kits.
One of these would be more effective as you don't really need vertical ports on a .22 rifle.

Yes, it was designed for a pistol, and it works very nicely on my 15-22. Before and after tests show that it does make a measurable difference. There is zero muzzle rise with it, and there was about 0.75" without it ... Shooting with the rifle in a rest with nothing holding it down. .

Good news gentleman I bought the Primary Weapons FSC 556 and the shims now just awaiting to get the shipment confirmation email stating my item has been ship . :D

Please post your results with it. Very interested to see if a muzzle break made for a 223 / 5.56 makes a difference.

Will do once I get the item installed and fire a few shots to see how I like the item and then give my final write up about it.

I am curious if it will decrease muzzle rise on the 22 lr. Their web site says it is " a flash suppressing compensator", then later in the description it says" all the FSC series have been classified as a non-flash suppressing device by ATF". Is it heavier than the A-2 on the 15-22 combined with the porting to decrease muzzle rise? Seems interesting, would like to hear about results. Be Safe,

From what I read on other gun/weapon forums and YouTube reviews on this item people have stated that it's really loud, some flash when firing the rifle and it help controls the rifle from recoil. Here's a review a gentleman did.

I should have my tracking information email by today from what the customer service representive emailed me yesterday stated. So probably tomorrow I should have it.

Fast look at the PWS FSC556 compensator (HD) - YouTube

I can tell you from personal experience, that is noticeably louder!! And this is coming from my 15-22.... Also it's a real pain in the a$$ to clean. Between the ports n $hit, but it just looks bad a$$ ,..... So it's worth it....

Also off topic, (sorry) did you ever get the geissele sd3g trigger??.... Cause that should the first mod for any rifle, night and day difference.

I haven't gotten the chance to purchase it as of yet but next month I'll going to buy the SD-3G and let a local gun shop/gun smith install it he's really recommendable and he's really honest and reasonable on his prices.

Here's my review on the PWS 556 Muzzle device. It's loud as previously stated some flash every now and then. For the $99 price tag it's well worth it the price. I like it I am not going buy another one to see how it ranks to another muzzle device I know it's a great product and no complaints here.

Thanks for reporting back, glad to read it worked out.
