Working 1st shift lately I have been able to watch TV, which I have found out isn't that good. I see nothing but reality TV and dopey shows, I do watch Adam 12 and Dragnet between 5 and 6 PM, I do like Blue Bloods.

Other than that I read more books and walk the dog work in the yard and visit the forum.

Try watching House. It is Sherlock Holmes dressed up as a doctor. "The Good Guys" on Friday nights is also pretty good.

Otherwise... I've become quite the fan of pro-wrestling. It's amongst the most direct and honest things on TV these days.

"Criminal Minds" has a couple of unlikely characters, but is otherwise fairly plausible. A few of them look the part of FBI profilers. Don't know if one could wear a beard in the Bureau.

I like, "River Monsters" on Discovery.

Other than the news and some sports, new TV shows can't hold my attention. Other than 24, (which I became TOTALLY addicted to) the last new show I watched was Seinfeld.
Give me Andy Griffith any day.

Most primetime TV is garbage. If they put a Neilsen box in my house they would probably think it was broken. The only time it goes to any of the big networks is for sports or weather.

I watched one day for all while when I was on vacation a few years back, I quickly relealized that I was not missing anything.

Reading a good now, titled "Hitler's Paratrooper" The life and battles of Rudolf Witzig. He was the engineer who led the paratroopers in the apture of Eban Emal.

I haven't had TV at home now for 13 years. I don't feel the least bit deprived. Good books make better companions and better memories.
